I am currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I work on the Super-K and proposed JParc neutrino detectors.
I did my graduate work in physics at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. The experiment I worked on is called the Antarctic Muon and Neutrino Detector Array ( AMANDA) at the University of Wisconsin.
People often wonder about the picture I have posted on the front page of my homepage. This is the front of a card that the "Astronomy in the Ice" class from the summer of 2000 made. They made and signed cards for each of the instructors. I am very partial to mine. I think it was the best. What you see is their interpetation of my lectures from the day I taught. I talked about particle physics, bubble chambers and how they relate to BEER!
