This is a mailing list relating to the NPX High Performance Computing cluster of the AMANDA and IceCube groups at UW-Madison.
This list will be used for announcements and discussions relating to the usage of the NPX cluster.
Announcements of administrative work done on the cluster will be posted on this list to keep users informed, and to advise of possible adverse effects due to this work.
Prior notice of scheduled work on the cluster - such as rebooting the main server (npx.physics.wisc.edu) - will be announced on this list.
This list can also be used for discussions on best usage practice for the work being done by the collaboration. Such things would be, how to best automate job submission, what these errors mean, where is this software?
